well here's the story, 18 moths ago i won a h-reg 1.1 popular plus on ebay for £32, thats right £32 ![]() initally bought so the misses could learn to drive wasnt in that bad condition, usual rust at the rear arches, also loosing oil from here there and everywhere, did a few bits and bobs to her, got her mot'd and used her for a year, she is now SORN the plan a FULL DIY respray si si front and rear bumpers delocked all round bonnet and boot swages removed DIY badboy bonnet xr2i arches and skirts and a 2litre mondie lump here's some pics of her after we got her home after buying her, progress will be a little slow as she's currently at my dads as i dont have a drive/garage ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() i'll add more pics once ive uploaded them keep tuned ![]() PS, i should also add that i was gona do this last year so hense the later pics will have the car with primer on (which will get rubbed down for a fresh coat) ![]() |

boot and rear window removed badge removed, swages filled boot lock removed, a plate welded to the back then smoothed with a tiny amount of filler the inside of the boot sprayed with primer |

boot gets its coat of colour "super black" pics dont do it justice, its VERY shiney ![]() |

after giving the boot its first coat it showed up a few imperfection, flattened the paint and fix the imperfections time for another coat of colour |

front bumper gets a coat of primer ![]() ![]() then a coat of colour ![]() ![]() then the rear bumbper ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() then starting to take on the front, well take off the lower panel ![]() ![]() looking a bit sorry for herself but given time she'll be as right as rain ![]() |
