well i thought i would do a post about my Si, considering i havnt really posted anything on this side at all since i joined, ive had the car about a month or two on the road now (still nowhere finished), as this is an old thread what i did on FT.com, well to start, i got it for a good price of £270 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() the interior is near mint, just some mold on the roof lining and on the seatbelts. ![]() ![]() heres a pic of the engine bay when i got it: ![]() and now with a new filter on it: ![]() well to start off with was to get a new door on, just needs a little fiddle to get it perfect. ![]() ![]() found some rust on the front valance. ![]() and now looks like this. ![]() the first bits i decieded to get were some new dials, and some clear rear lights. ![]() ![]() ![]() so on with the body work, today i sorted the holes on the wing sanded the bonnet and the bumper and sprayed in primer. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() this is what im going to be aiming for ![]() itll be lowered -60mm RS/2i arches RS2000 skirts 2.0 engine and a front splitter which im still deciding on this is what it was like when i took the rear bumper off ![]() i smoothed in the rear spoiler (people said it would crack but it hasnt yet) ![]() ![]() well finally cut off the rear valance so that is awaiting the new one to be welded ![]() ive fitted my mk4 wiper arm ![]() and heres a pic of the smoothed spolier and the top swage line gone ![]() ![]() and ive sorted the dint and the deep scratches on the rear bumper aswell and finally smoothed off under the rear lights: ![]() ![]() well, i got myself a cheap set off alloys off ebay got a good price of £31 there only 13" but im not really that fussed, ive got some grooved discs to go on, and a rear strut brace. hope its ok, as its a stupid amount of pics, the fez still stands in a multicoloured state as ive had no time what so ever to do anything on it, but hopefully when work dies down abit, i will try and get some bits and bobs done to it, cheers :: Blade :: |
