After getting the Tarox Monza's bed in and biting finally, I took a look at the calipers and discs, and they looked decidedly shonky. So, I took a quick trip round Halfords, for some axle stands, 2 tins of Hammerite, and some sandpaper.

Starting with the drivers side:




After 2 coats of black round the disc centres, and 2 coats of silver on the calipers:





(Excuse the rust on the actual discs, the car has been sat for a week doing nowt on my drive)

Passenger side (Worst of the 2):



And again, after paint:




Then, just cus I was underneath, took a few of the chassis, dunno why. But it looks fairly clean for 7 years old





I know it aint much to most of you, but I keep doing little bits, and it makes me kinda proud, I aint the most mechanically minded person in the world, so this is like a big learning curve.

I just love the fact that most of the marks on the underside are just dust and a bit of dirt, gonna get a steam cleaner on the chassis before FITP I think.

Will have an update sometime soon when i get the rears done.

How well do you rate the discs...they look real tidy?! are you running different pads?
