Right thought i'd start a thread about my fiesta project car which is now getting underway.Ive had my 1.3 fiesta on the road for a year now and the styling of it just doesn't appeal to me anymore,my opinions on smoothed tailgates and badboy bonnets have changed somewhat from when it was being built.I didn't feel it was worth pumping anymore money into a 1.3 so was on the look out for another fiesta shell as i already had a few bits which i intended to use on the 1.3.So we came across a ash black 1.4 SI,with NSF damage but otherwise the shell was solid as a rock, and it was cheap-ish.the plans are to strip it,cage it and trackday it next year, unfortunately i dont have the money or space to have two cars so this will be my daily driver as well.Engine will be 1.6 CVH,twin DCOE 40'S,bit of headwork and 4-2-1 and system.sorry for the essay, hers some pics of the car as we got it and the progress so far.any comments welcome guys.cheers steve

saved from the chives, note neon washer jets and "carbon" fibre M3 mirror

first thing was to strip it out

old mashed door

wing chopped off,and new door from scrappy hung

rear cage lined up,and front of cage lying there

and the dash as it was left yesterday.going over in a bit after picking up my rocker cover from the powder coaters so will take some pics of the progress.
