Hi all, Its been quite a while since I've posted on the forum I've been meaning to get some pics up of my fiesta si for a while but have struggled to find the time, but I've had a free minuet so thought i would get it done. Any way here is my aubergine black fiesta si that i have owned for 5 years now it was a really rare find to begin with as it had 56,000 on the clock, full electrics pack, heated front window, electric wing mirrors and passenger air bag and its totally rot free everywhere! Over the years I've done quit a bit to keep it going as my daily driver Spec includes Rs turbo bonnet Escort rs 2000 mk5 front calipers 280mm Focus mk1 2.0l rear disk convertion Polly bushes all round Rear omp strut brace Mondeo mk3 master cylinder and servo 2.0l mondeo engine convertion lowerd 25 mm Still got lots more planed for it, when and if the weather gets better i'll put more pics up of whats to come anyway let me know what you guys think of it ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Nice car, makes me miss my old aubergine one. You might want to scale down the pictures though because they are a bit too big for the forum ![]() |

Sorry guys didn't realise the pics came out so big i'll re do them got some picys of it clean now so will put these up instead Loumiester :- the rear disk convertion is great even under very heavy breaking i have no problem from the back end, front can lock up a tiny bit when you really stab the breaks but all si's are like this even when standard. one thing i will say tho is, i did this before i did the mondeo servo upgrade and the breaks were awful the breaks were ither fully on or fully off as the fiesta servo and master cylinder just went up to the job so i would strongly recommend doing that first if i was to do it again ![]() |

Iv locked up in my si a fair few times lol. Its good to know you can have a rear disc conversion that actualy works rather than locking to easy, like you say its probably the mondeo servo thats the key for it to work right. |

It works brillianty total top upgrade and to be honest it was very easy to do all you really have to do is drill out the holes on the axle plate, assemble together and bleed the breaks thats about it. it does drastically alter the off set tho, it brought the rear wheels out by at least an inch and a half But you're definitely right the mondeo servo makes it, to do this upgrade without it, i would say it would make a car unsafe as every press of the breaks either locks up the car or just doesn't work at all ![]() Chris :- The inspiration behind the badge came from the fiesta rs 1800 i thought the cars are not that disimilar the only difference really is the bumpers and engine so i thought as my car is 2.0l why not, i think its a nice twist to the car. may not be everyones cup of tea but i love it ![]() |

done it again after missing my first si (lowsi) old car i went round to see si nutter to see if he had anything left and this is the last one so ive brought anotherone from him (this one ) the only difference is now (4years on from my last one) ive got a cleaner one and a driving licence and its now my daily drive had her a week now done 300 miles and its been brilliant regretted getting rid of my first si for the past 4 years but due to my friend smashing the front up whilst in storage and the rust it had to go but i will put a build thread up of this car now ive got it ![]() |
