Whether you liked the style or not, you can't deny the car didn't look nice I'm glad I finally made a car like this, it was a good experience, no doubt I may do it again but track has called! So in my next post you'll see what I have been up to today!

So today I spend a couple hours fitting my seats and taking stuff out the car, sub/amp carpet etc. I forgot the main carpet but i'll cut that out sometime soon as there's no way i'm pulling the seats out again they were a nightmare to fit! But on the other hand they look great, they hold me in very very well and are comfy! I took it out for a test drive and so much fun, I can hear it popping all the time now too so thats more fun I wanna get the sound deadening out and take a few more bit out and get some carbon fibre doorcards, so all in good time, I also need a deep dish steering wheel I just havent bothered to buy it yet, I haven't taken any pictures of the rear as the harnesses are in but haven't fitted my harness bar yet thats going in tuesday. and there are lots more things I need to remove which I couldn't using an allen key style tool. So yeah! This is what i've been relatively quite about tbh as it wasn't all that exciting a revelation but hey most of you on here should like it better now  I've fitted 4x parada spec 2's all the way round, on standard wheels, I have sold the axes!I have been offered a puma lump as well so might take up that offer will need clutch and cambelt which my car needs a clutch anyway so may as well spend on the engine rather than the same cost for a clutch, so might get that done soon. Here are my seats! (Also if your interested my old interior is for sale!)

Yeah no denying that it was lovely to look at but that was the main issue, thats all it was lol this will be more fun. cleaned the car up today and this is how it currently stands. Obviously underneath was already prepped for track with this car, polybushes, ST150 brakes and coilovers. needs fine tuning now so new discs/pads and setting up. All in good time. Gave the rear a good clean up too, had a quick look to see how much of a pain the sound deadening will be, it'll be a long job but with a heat gun I'm guessing it'll go a bit smoother, doesn't seem fun at all though. ignore the harnesses im barely driving it and i wont have a passenger by the time I get the harness bar in. |

Cheers ben, got the steering wheel all fitted properly today, I had a go but made a bit of a hash of it, although even done right there were properly so no clock spring atm until the problem there can be figured out. A bit more stripped out today, just a couple of brackets and belts but man you'd be suprised how much difference all the weight i've taken out makes, much quicker without a sub and seats and things. just the few brackets in a bag is pretty heavy. Really enjoying driving it atm, fun in the bends and everything, just waiting on a track day that suits me to be sorted so I can get on it!

So went out for 20 minuites yesterday at ford fair (now an official track car! )Car worked wonders, need some new brakes really but apart from that it performed great! Pushed it to the limit and overtook some more powerful cars which was great. today arrived my package I was hoping for saturday! This is what I have been looking like. And now what it looks like Bit of cutting here and there for the handles to fit properly but overall very good quality stuff and looks awesome! So happy with it, just gotta rewire the window switches to the centre console and maybe think of a subtle handle to go on to open and close the doors Some pictures of the doorcards being made |

Got them from Autoflock at a "group buy" price that didn't actually happen, so he gave them to me for £20 off the group buy price.. lol ! Nah no polycarbs its still a daily, i've just taped them onto the doorcards, works fine! |
