Hi guys,
Well, we're up at the inlaws for Christmas and my father in law had a large barn so as I'm putting the Audi up for sale I thought it rude not to hijack the barn and spend a couple of days detailing and polishing the Audi!! Merry Christmas to me

So I jet washed it it clean at the local garage, brought it back and gave it a two buckets wash with microfibres mitt, them used a new blade to get the bulk of the water off (I know I shouldn't have, but wiped after each sweep and was away to detail anyway so meh!) then used a large waffle towel to dry off, used blue roll to dry in behind all nooks and crannies, then set to work and clay bar'd the entire car with Megs clay bar kit, then masked off all lights and plastic trim etc then attacked it with a Megs G220 with polishing pad and #83 ( I think will check!) as Audi paint is ridiculously hard this was perfect to get rid of swirls. Didn't touch the RDS's but wife would have killed me if I had spent the two full days I wanted to to get it scratch free :Lolz:
Once that was done went around it with a Megs finishing pad and NXT2 wax.
Didn't do all the door jams etc as I've got a 300 mile drive home so will do them when I'm back.
Here are some pics of it straight after I'd finished

Went into town after that and it started raining so got a cheeky beading shot
