the only thing with painting the bulb red with bulb heat red paint is that it comes up pink but it will still fail the m.o.t cause the rear reflectors r white i ve been pulled for mine twice by pc plod just keep your old rear lights for mot time and all is good!

thanx for the advice m8, one of my mates has sed use an L.E.D bulb instead which i think i will try
