My Tonic Ford Fiesta Freestyle Well thought it's about time I did a thread for my little fiesta! I have now sorted out the little issues that occured and he is working fine now! Greeeeeeeaat! Time has finally come and I have picked up the Modding bug quite quickly, sat back and watched other modify there cars for a few years, whilst buidling my no claims up and saving some money. So here goes to those who don't no what I currently drive.... Model: Ford Fiesta Freestyle Engine: 1.25 Zetec Colour: Tonic 5 Door (Thought this would be an issue but its far from it) Well over the past couple of months I have had an addication to ebay and scrap yards and bought a few items! My lounge started to look like a Ford scrappers lol. Parents didnt really like it! Mods bought so far: Smoked Side Repeaters Zetec S Front Bumper Zetec S Back Bumper Zetec S Side Skirts Renault Laguna Splitter HID Kit Show Plates A 'cool' White sticker bought from Flash (2) 19" Aero Vu Flat Front Wipers New DMB Ford Badges White KNW Sticker Mods left to buy or do: De-tango and smoke the Front Lights Smoked Rear Lights Exhaust Window Deflectors 16" Alloy Wheels (Got to decide which ones yet) Tinted Windows Private Number Plate Fix the Drivers door lock (It will lock but wont open) ZSOC Sticker Sub & Amp possibly new headunit Set of 4 Black Mud Flaps The Plan!! Well after a good brain burning thought I have decided to go for a completley whole new look! The Whole car is going into the bodyshop for a full hit of paint and for all the body work and panels to be put on and remove all the rust that has 'just' started comign through. He will be going a 2011 colour not spilling the beans yet as I dont want to spoil my surprise! I have many ideas and finally found what I am going for! I CAN'T BLOODY WAIT! So attached is some pictures of how he looks now..... ![]() ![]() |

Righty, I said I would keep you all up to date with whats happening ![]() So here goes... On Saturday bobbed up to my mates unit/bodyshop and he said if you want you can leave your car here so I can start working on it, orginally he told me to drop it off Tuesday Night this week as he had loads of jobs on! However I didnt say no! So stayed up there whilst Rodderz was sorting his suspension out on his MK3 Si. I got slightly bored so started stripping my car! Yes, me being a girl I got my hands dirty! Had a few tips getting the wing mirrors off but other than than they let let me loose! I got my tool box out my boot and started .... I manged it and did a mint job! He looked like this when I arrived: ![]() ![]() ![]() Then I started on the lights: ![]() ![]() ![]() Grille was removed, then wing mirrors and door cards then all the rubber seals!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Found rusty bits after taking the rubber seals off! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() That will soon be removed and cleaned up! Then a few pictures of two small dints! ![]() ![]() So thats all for now, well proud of myself for doing it, tell you what its much better stripping a car than having your hair and nails done!! ![]() So up-dates will pop up this week!! |

Haha I know, I keep getting bubbles in my tummy today as get to see it all painted up after work. ![]() ![]() Should be done and out and about by Tuesday Next week as he aint working sat & sun ![]() Its cost me for everything just over £1000 so not really but he owed me and Rodderz a favour for building the unit with him. If you want his contact Loumiester I can give it you, he does a proper job, and also respects modified cars alot more than other bodyshops! ![]() |
