Hey, decided to have bit of a fresh start on here, i know ive pee'd a few of you guys off, but id like to leave that in the past, ive had bit of a understanding lately and want a clean slate... if you gents will let me ![]() anyway the Si uptill recently, it was reletively standard ont he outside, i liked it that way, under neath was a completely different story though 1.8 Zetec E, 130 spec with the 2.0 cams H.O inlet and Throttle body (not gone for the ECU as yet, fuel prices aint very forgiving atm) also a 2.0 maf, its running on a BLOB mk1 mondeo ecu, and is fitted with blacktop focus ST170 platinum spark plugs it also has a K&N filter and stainless Catback exhaust with a 3.5" tip to the backbox Polybushed all round except the rear torsion beam mounts, didnt really want to take it off yet, the bushes in it are fine atm, but front top mounts, front anti roll bar bushes, rear top mount bushes and rear anti roll bar bushes, all from Flo-flex engine bay has been treated to some suble chrome items, the bonnet stay, top mount cups and the oil filler cap, i did have a chrome but painted black spark plug cover but ive removed that for now the engine bay has had the following detailing, rocker cover done in a electric blue, blue motorsport sillicone cased plug leads, gloss black crossover and blue sillicone hose joiners interior wise again different to the outside, RS recaro seats front and back, standard Si door cards, escort GTi leather wheel with a ford overlay in the ford badge bit of the airbag it has a auto specialists blue capped leather gearknob, Full electrics pack from central locking, quickclear heated front screen and ford standard alarm and deadlocking, i have headted electric mirrors ready for painting and fitting for entertainment i have fitted a Boss audio BV7940 DVD player with 3.6" screen, as a good base to start with, it has 2 video and sound inputs, and 1 video output for expansion, reads SD cards, USB and aux front for mp3's and video players i plan to get a 7-9" monitor for dash mounting and a PS2 slim fitted suing a car adapter (they run on a 8.5v supply, i could go for the Xbox 360 S but theyre a bit expensive for car use) JBL front companants, crossovers and tweeters and Alpine E tyes in the orignal speaker mounts with standard ford wiring at the back 200W amplifier and 1000W 10" JBL sub in box in the boot the outside has had since after ford fair RS turbo pop out rear quaters, and a dented bonnet thanks to a run in with my mate after the guy infront of him decided he wasnt going to make the slip road in time, but i have a RS turbo bonnet waiting on the funds to be painted and fitted the original 14" alloys were still fitted from factory and the car was lowered 30mm on the standard Si gas sports shock absorbers since even before the 1.8 was fitted ive had RS2000 260mm brakes on the front which i bought off danP your all familier with, that must have been about july i bought/fitted them, but they have now got grooved and drilled discs but lately ive decided to lose the standard look, the Si now has RS skirts and arches, Escort GTi 15" wheels, these are ET40 so are spaced 5mm each wheel Escort RST crossover pipe and blue sillicone joiners, Ashley four branch heat wrapped and ive debadged the boot except for the ford badge anyway essay over ![]() before wheel change ![]() how she is currently ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ill try and to think carefully about what i say around the forums, ive never wanted to piss someone off, mainly what i say just comes out wrong |

Nice car man! Love the Blue!!! You should get a dremel and polish up the raised zetec 16v and ford logo on the cam cover ![]() It'd go well with the strut tops and oil cap! |

cheers again gents ![]() the manifold is a Ashley four branch, in heat wrapped the mid section and backbox are both stainless, but i havent found a manufacures stamp or marking on them, so i cant say whos made them, the backbox tone is very mild, sometimes its not even noticable as a aftermarket item, so it suits me for a daily car perfectly, mind you, now the four branch is on, thats all changed dramaticly, i get good comments about its tone now, rather raspy and a few pops, the four branch also acts as a decat. |
