right here goes i bought a rs1800 at the beginning of november and so far love it compared to my old si (i have had 3 ![]() ![]() so i picked it up from stoke and drove it home well half way untill the rear bearing collapsed and fucked my drum as i tryed to drive still but had to give up as felt like i was going to die so i got as far as newport pagnell and had to get it recovered by my mate on his transit so the next day down to the scrappy to look for a new drum but there wasnt any so i had to put a standard fiesta drum on one side for now as i cant afford to get the drums at the moment (only 60 pound for 2 new) and i no it can be dangerous as uneven breaking but had to get to work and back so had to do something as not insured in my old si anymore but other than that the car aint been too bad the previous owner had looked after the car very well as it has had over £1500 spent on it just this year as i have stacks and stacks of paper work some dating back to 1995 ![]() but 2 years ago it had all new arches, inner and outer sills, front valance and any other rust cut out and replaced plus a full respray not the best but not bad he reckons it was mallard green but totally different to my old car that was mallard green so could someone please try and tell me what the actual colour is as on the hpi check it says it has had a colour change but only says green i have a few ideas of what i want to do slo here my list so far escort gti white alloys -got mondy alloys at moment if anybody wants to do a deal all tyres are good vr6 golf splitter-ORDERED wind deflectors-ORDERED-FITTED new number plates as old says kazzas rs1800 on them-ORDERED-FITTED st150 brakes lower it and no chris not decking it ![]() strut braces front and back early boot struts for boot polybush whole car twin pillar pod holder 1.oil temp 2.dont no yet braided brake lines full leather interior turbo popouts that i have got but cant get the metal caps of as i want to tint them before i fit them better spark plug leads escort lsd gearbox sort my abs out as it dont work ![]() also front heated screen dont work ![]() rs bonnet with raisers got bonnet but dont no what the colour is i need morette lights or headlight protectors and other bits like blue hoses under bonnet but all in good time ![]() bu there are a few pics for now ![]() ![]() only bit of ruist so far ![]() need the black plastic bit that goes here ![]() ![]() ![]() sits like a jeep ![]() mmmmmmmmmmm arch gap ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() pics only from my iphone so not the best ![]() let me no what you think and any suggestions ![]() |

Love it Reminds me of my 3.5 RS1800 ![]() as seen on the mainpage write up:- http://www.fiesta-si.com/ford-fiesta-hi ... ta-rs1800/ I like your plans also Regarding the ABS, what you need to do is ditch it. Fit an Escort (or Mondeo) brake servo, remove the brake compensator from the rear beam, and enjoy decent brakes! Trust me. Lowering it with the ABS with the silly brake compensator on the rear beam "may" cause you some agro in heavy braking, specially if you are upgrading the puny front brakes ![]() Also re: the rear drums, just slap a full set of standard fiesta drums on instead, the RS1800's (with ABS) seem to come with the slightly larger and flatter drums, but to no real benifit IMO.. I also binned mine, due to the exact same problem you had ![]() Oh yeah, remove the shiney tape shite from the bumpers! |
