A few weeks passed and after finding a part-time job decided to go to the local scrappy to find some rimmage! ![]() Had a look at the ford alloys and the one set that caught my eye Set of Sierra Cossie/ Escort Xr3i multispoke doglegs with 185/65/14 on Pirelli P6000's, Brand new tyres on them apart from one being slashed ![]() ![]() Test fitted one Also got a Puma Knob ![]() ![]() Wheels are in an okay condition, I'll be hopefully refurbing them before a fresh set of rubber goes on... might spray them white... |

I have some little things done to it by then, Got the dent pulled out and filled, father had a crack at it so end result was not the best paint wise but done a good job on filling ![]() Few paint drips and pleanty of overspray.. never masked it up ![]() Halfords dark aubergine isnt great either that or its the coats of clear laquer. makes it look very dark compared to the original. Got the paint off the window anyway and sanded down the rear light and gave it a couple of clear coats.. turned out really well.... no pics i Had a mk4 rear wiper fitted but the clip was broken for the blade... mate of mine didnt realise and thought he was being funny left the wiper up, lost it on the way home! my fault for not realising!! ![]() Cleared the rear washer out... full of limescale! so thats all good! Fitted a new cd player so i can play my ipod! tuuuneage!! ![]() Welded up the backbox for now untill the test.. not blowing anymore so its grand! Tappets re-adjusted thanks to Dave5300.. they were miles out! Also gave me a home-made airfilter - nice noise, excellent alternative to a tin can backbox!! ![]() Just small things that make a difference! Next is an oil change... desperately needs it! |

Got new inner-ties and track rod ends as the ones in it were knackered! alot of knocking and play in the wheel! Got them for 50 quid, a bargain as the local dealer was looking for €100 ![]() ![]() A few pics of the car about 3 weeks ago... in the middle of polishing and waxing... as you can see the diff between the front and rear doors! Also test fitted the spoiler... |

Small update for now, Got the oil changed in her a a new filter, Unfortunately when i was on the way to dropping my lil bro to school a mile down the road i done the most stupid thing you do in snow, is to touch the brakes!!! ![]() ![]() The back of the car decided to kick out to the left and 180'd, Hit the wall on the front left Thankfully its only cosmetic damage! Gonna pull it out, repaint it and cover it up with Si bumpers! Plus have a lot more to come! |

Si bumpers ftw, unlucky on the bump though mate, glad its an easy fix. I know what you mean with halfords dark aubergine, iv been trying to spray an rst bonnet I have but it fiesta look the same colour as my car so im gonna have to find a better match. Those alloys look mint in white . . . .DO IT!! |
