Okay Okay I change my mind more than I don't know what... RS1800 shell is going to cost too much to sort out, and IMO will be too much hassle for what its worth! The NEW plan:- Ford Ka Manual Steering Conversion to Cable operated Clutch Focus ST170 Engine Rebuilt Derv box, with Quaiffe Diff. 4 Paddle Clutch 40mm Individual Throttle Bodies running Weber ECU Ashley 4-2-1 Manifold, mated to custom stainless section with 1 box (4" tip) Cossie Fuel Pump fitted into Ka tank, or tank in boot (undecided yet) Braided Fuel Hose through interior Brake Pipes through interior CustomCages Multipoint 2004 International Weld in roll cage DIY Front and Rear Strut braces Adjustable front suspension mounts DIY Nuclear Spec rear beam Suspension uncertain, either a decent set of shocks/springs or coilovers Polybush all items possible Cosworth Brakes on front, or 300mm MK3 Mondeo setup (but modded to fit 15s also) Rear brakes, uncertain but will be daft discs and calipers I'm sure! Escort Brake Servo mod Flocked Dash 2 x Bucket Seats Rear 3 windows in polycarb SportKa Bumpers 16" Ford Sierra Cosworth Rally wheels, prob have to use 195 tyres instead of 205's etc ![]() Just need to sell a few items, get rid of the RS1800 shell (most likely weight it in) and get Xmas out the way. On the look out for a Ka, dont want to pay too much for it, but I dont want a total dog! Willing to do a few repairs on it bodywise, the usual sills, probably the fuel repair panel as all fords! ![]() |

couple of points. to run adjustable front top mounts youll need coilovers for the reduced diameter..rear brace is part of that cage setup im sure of it. and that cage doesnt give two flies room for a pokey bum wank in the boot. leave the tank underneath ![]() |

As others have said leave the standard tank, internal metal tanks cause sooooo much bother if you want to do anything MSA sanctioned as it will need to have a firewall around it, so if you fit a swirl pot, put it in the engine bay (not that you'll have room!) |

Cut the scuttle, so then your trumpets are sat in there, 2 plus', longer trumpets giving more torque and cooler air! Win win! Plus will be lighter what with less metal! Lol! |
