small update, swapped the front left disc for another one as there was a slight chip in mine and was sqweeling when brakeing anyways sorted now! also took the exhaust off to polish it ohh and ir rained on it the other day so took a pic of the beading comments welcome

alright lads i finally got my finger out 2 weeks ago and started getting ready for the engine change, i got the engine out of a 96 clx escort with 96,000 on the clock, its a 1.6 and its sweet as a nut, really well looked after, trying to work in the snow isnt the easiest but hey ho i got her out anyways heres the pics, theres a few

first i had to find the car












then the stripping and cleaning began, nothing major, just to tidy it up
















me and jason (spunkymonkey) cleaned up the block with a wire brush them went over it with degreaser a toothbrush and diesel, then i pained the coil bracket and a few other bits


i then brought the cam cover into work and got her dipped and blasted, i then polished the lettering with a dynablade, really happy how it came out


























just a few more bits to do and shes ready to go in, comments are very welcome as always
