I've been on this forum for a while now. But i've never done a sorta diary thing some of you guys do. So i'm starting tonight as in the next few weeks i should hopefully be doing a few things to the car  And tonight i'm improving some of the paintwork, so later i will take piccys! So this is my Thread  haha

Right, so basically - Brief history of the car Started out in the police force back in 1994 as an under cover highway car thingy lol. 1994-1996 / 0-114,000miles Then the second owner was a smoker  (Hence why i need new seats). 1996-2005 / 114,000-164,000milesThird owner was a doctor, who basically just used it for the school run and taking his kids horse riding (Hence why i need new carpets lol). 2005-2008 / 164,000-173,000miles And now me Since December 25th 2008 174,000-189,000-etc.milesOver all the car is in good nick And then engine still works perfectly despite the milage But i'm putting a 2.0 in anyways so it doesn't matter When i got it, it was completely standard apart from still having wiring for sirens/lights in it and also a sony tape headunit and 10 disk cd changer lol Since i've had it... of the top of my head from what i can remember Mondeo Zetec Alloys Scorpion Cat-back New kenwood headunit with everything basically, most importantly it glows green! lol Replaced all 4 speakers with some 180w ones, so no chavvy 6x9's Steath box sub with 1000w sub and unknown w amp, but it's poweful Mk4/5 wiper Mk5 ariel Mk5 Sunroof Mk4/5 Ghia interior light Puma Handbrake gaitor Smoked repeaters Colour coded wingmirrors and spoiler (RST) RST bonnet Yellow foglight tints and bulbs Ice white headlamps and sidelights Rear int light Rear headrests Gold badges Soon to come: 2.0 Conversion - just need inlet and then will drop straight in ST150 brakes with MK1 non ABS master cylender - still need to buy lol Tint rear windows Stuff to collect at FF: Laguna Splitter ST150 rear disk setup Carpet Well that's all i can think of for now lol Here she is all nice and warm in the garage atm:

Just been out and compounded and polished my passenger door, pics: Wasn't that dirty, was mainly dust, but had to be done   On goes the cutting compound   Took that off and now for my favorate polish   Took that off, and BLING!  Reflection porn  I love metallic flake  No flash flake, and it lives up to it's name - mallard GREEN  SPARKLESSSS

DISASTER!  My car was really nice and shiny, so i decided to put it on the trailer today and cover it with a "waterproof" car cover, and it rained. So then i looked underneath the cover and there was water everywhere! I'm gunna have to polish it again at ford fair by the looks of things... if the weather is nice :/ |

Looks a pretty good car for a moon miler! Should be nice after all your mods  What brake servo are you going to be fitting?? With rear discs, and bigger front brakes... you will need at least a MK6 Escort servo, or bigger MK2 Mondeo servo (MK2 Mondeo one is a straight swap) |

I thought it was MK1 mondeo. Either way i'm fitting a nonABS mondeo servo lol. I'm not an expert at welding so i'm not going for the escort lol |

I've decided to go with what you said, the mondeo mk3 calipers with st170 disks as they are 67093274x cheaper lol 1 question, do the st170 pads fit the mondeo calipers? It's just on ebay they are selling sets of pads and disks for the st170 for pretty much the same as just the disks, and i just wanted to know if i had to throw away those pads and get the mondeo ones lol |

Nice one, I used the MK3 Mondeo Pads... not sure if the Focus ones will fit... I just went to local motorfactors and asked for the pads for the calipers and a set of discs, came to something daft cheap like £40 Tis definately MK2 Mondeo Servo too (see:- http://www.mwstewart.co.uk/articles/mk3mondeomc/ )... the MK6 Escort one is a good one also but you need to faff cutting the welding the rod shorter
