So here is my first attempt to put pictures of my 1.6 Fiesta Si. I decided it was time to see what people think.
Most are self explanatory

You can just see my sisters Ka3 in the background

My most current upgrade, these momo 15s (Cheers Chris :) )
Image
Another cheeky upgrade are my clear side repeaters lol
Image
I have some other mirrors but i'm not sure which I prefer:
Standard
Image
Image
or these

Heres my poor old XR2i, which was my project until i discovered there was more rust than body
Image
Image
Image
Some nice wheels (not sure if they are standard but they look about right to be
Image
I'm in the process of removing the skirts
Image
And Although its not mine or a fiesta (or ford) I had the camera and my dad wasnt home so i took a couple of pictures of his car, The dream is to beat him in a race but dont think its gonna happen
Image

I know all the cars are dirty but I was supposed to clean them all while my parents were away but by the time I'd finished using up all his petrol then using up my petrol they were due back. Ah well it serves him right for going on holiday without me

looks good, keep standard, im swapping my m3 mirrors for standard plus they will be easier to live with if your car is a daily. if that MR2 isnt a turbo then i think with the right money you should be kicking its arse . . . anything is possible if you got the cash and patients.

I'm trying mate, that along with the xr2 arches and skirts are next step after I get the brakes on (tomorrow/Friday) I've been struggling to find any time recently with work and other things. You found your coilovers yet?
Thanks guys, yeah I think the carbon wrap looks good on the parts as they were black anyway so it just looks subtle :)
I only got it done as my bonnet is a different colour to the rest of the car and the wrap was same price as getting bonnet resprayed, I thought why not have a looksy at the quality of it. I really like it on the mirrors and spoiler but think it would be too much on the bonnet as well. I'm gonna get my cossie splitter done when I steal tangos

it's dying a slow death :( had big plans for her then changed them, now she's back in the lime light again with a new project plan, hopefully i'll hear the engine running again soon and then the project begins :)

I keep the cover on now to keep it as dry as possible but not moved for over a year now (under its own momentum, i have pushed it around and taken bits off and stuff)

So its been ages and due to uni and then work nothing has been done for way way too long.

I've finally pulled my thumb out and bought some paint to start working on the XR2i body kit (by the way nobody could agree at Fordfair but my car is petrol blue) The rear arches and sill have been replaced so only a couple of tiny rust patches and 1 bit that needs urgent attention on the bodywork side of things.

Although I've not really done anything to the car I have been sourcing bits ready to fit. I have been having serious issues with my insurance so i have decided to wait untill i renew to fit the parts and declare them properly when i transfer company. Here are a couple of bits all ready to go;

New Brake stuff (most have seen this before but now putting it altogether on my thread)
Image
Image
Image
Just to show the difference in the discs from standard to st150's
Image
This will all be sitting pretty under my new rims (which need lower profile tyres)
Image
Image

I have also decided i need to start and make a real effort to clean up my engine bay, starting small then working up to the bigger stuff. this was the first thing i thought i would try.
1. straight from the car on the right and after being attacked with a wire brush bit
Image
2. on the right was after a sanding drill bit then the left was after sandpaper treatment
Image
3. The right is the same as the above picture but the left has had more paper treatment, basically going to go from 240-600-800-1200 grit paper, it has just started getting 800 but i had to stop to go to work :( gonna finish the sanding then try polishing them, if i'm not happy i'll just paint them flourescent green
Image

Sorry the pics arent the best quality but i only have a shitty iphone 3gs camera. Tomorrow I'm gonna take pictures of the car and all the other bits i have collected and started cleaning up. I have also added a new exhaust (courtesy of Onslack) and i will get pics of that tomorrow, I'm particularly fond of it and it sounds awesome

That is all for now, comments are always welcome :) (ps chris i know it still needs lowering)

As promised some pics of the rest of my stuff

The new exhaust -
Image
Image

The laguna splitter -
Image

The first bit i tried painting, now from a distance the colour looks quite good -
Image

but when you get up close it's really streaky, not entirely sure what to do with it as i obviously sprayed too much for each layer. if i cant sort it tomorrow with a couple of thin layers i may just take the full kit to my mechanic who has a paint shop next door to get a quote. otherwise it will cost almost as much in rattlers -
Image

This is just to show the old colour next to the new colour, not very clear though -
Image

against the car the colour is almost perfect but should darken slightly (to be perfect) with the final layer of lacquer just got to get rid of the streaks.

Again picture quality isnt the best but any advice is greatly appreciated (i've never tried spraying anything before) and comments as always are welcome :)
