hi iv jus figured this photobucket lark so thought id put up some pics

this is from when i got the car (pic badly taken on my phone)



then i bought these the other week



bonnet spacers fitted





i paid around 1k for this car
it has;
a mondeo 2litre engine
powercrazy stage 2 ported and polished head
rs1800 inlet (HO inlet)
blackdiamond 220mm clutch
escort diesel gearbox (which is not as strong as they say lol as iv jus picked up an rs1800 box to swap it)
280mm mondeo front brakes
decat stainless mongoose exhaust

all i need to do now is sort the suspension out as i hate it this high it does hav gmax shocks on the front but the offside is abit shagged
oh n its got a front strut brace soon to be followed by a rear and eventually a cage
oh and also the paint has glitter in it which i detest lol

looks really cool but your right you do need some gti's on her or atleast some lighter coloured alloys. iv just bought another gti alloy to "practice" refurbing and spraying it white

and tango how did you do that when i couldnt?
i think strut braces make a big difference from havin them on my last three cars includin this one
and that bloke with the cage is only round corner so iv jus been round n its from a 1992 xr2i so will it fit my L reg si?
he not after much for it so a bargain might be had

i was usin the web address box thingy n it wernt bringin it all up wooooooo

oh n chris to your question it isnt goin to be a full track car but more fast road n for show tbh
although it will see some trackdays hopefully
i dont think that a cage is too much for the road jus depends what you use the car for
iv got 2 other cars i can use but recently iv only been usin this even if it does drink fuel lol

il get some pics of the stripped interior on 2mo if i can

n im after some white rs2k's or escort gtis lol n i need it lowered but hey im only a part timer lol
