Hi Everyone, I have got my hands on a 1.6 Si. It has done 148,000 miles and the body work is in not to bad condition. I have taken quite a step back as i drove a 1.8 MK1 Focus Zetec before this. I have had her a week though and i am already loving the Si experiance. Here are a few snaps i took before work one day: ![]() ![]() ![]() I have quite a list of plans for her and i am hoping that the engine will last after doing that many miles although i know that if the engine does go then a 2.0 will be going in its place. Sunday will be when the first changes start happening, i'll keep everyone posted. BEN'S TO DO LIST 6/08/2010 Tint Back Lights (DONE) Strip Back Out (DONE) Oil Breather (DONE) Subs (DONE) Harnesses (DONE) Seat Covers (DONE) Race Leads (DONE) MK4 Wiper (DONE) S/S Bonnet Prop (Edd China'ed) Chrome Strut Tops (Edd China'ed) De-Badge (DONE) XR2i Skirts And Arches (GOT) Exhaust System (LESS SAID THE BETTER LOL) Tint Rear And Back Windows RS Turbo Bonnet Bonnet Raisers Thanks, Ben |

What a steal at 350, looks in great condition. I find with fords it doesnt matter about age, whether it be a mk1 focus or a mk3 fiesta, its what you make it because there so god dam cheap to maintain lol |

Thanks for the welcome guys, The body work is ok, the rear near side arch is quite bad but as I am putting the XR2i kit on it it will cover it up although I want to sort it out slightly first, there is also a nasty marble size dent in the wing on the top close to the headlight. As promised sunday was playday, the rear is completely stripped, seats, belts, door cards, plastic trim, the lot. Also the front belts are gone and replaced with sparco 3 point harnesses, I also have 6x9's running off the rear speaker wires and slightly smoked rear lights, pics will be up tomorrow after a wash and a polish. Sorry for the delay in getting the pictures up, i have been busy at work and have had to give the missus some attention instead of just the SI lol. This is what the back looks like now it has been stripped out and with 3 point harnesses and seat covers: ![]() ![]() I have now put subs in, i did look like this but as it jumped about to much so i put them in a box: ![]() This one is just thrown in because it looks nice lol: ![]() I also have tinted lights on and fitted an oil breather filter. In the OP i have added a "To Do List" which i will also keep updating, all comments welcome. Ben |

Had a slight issue with the sub box deciding to shoot forward when i braked sharp ramming against the harness strap and rendering you a statue as you carnt move but after getting some grippy mat from halfrauds it seems to have solved the issue |
