Post subject: | Turbocharged Integra Type R | BREAKING |
Thought I'd post a couple of dirty pictures of the car as I've had it for a month or two and not got around to it yet though most people have seen it. Excuse the dirt as said. I initially bought it as a run around/stop gap car, as moving from my GTi-6, I wanted something in particular, RWD, but there was nothing around at the time that I liked (time of year!?) so opted for this. ![]() ![]() ![]() It's a great car - I've enjoyed it more than I thought, so I'm in the process of bringing it back to good condition and maybe keeping it more than a few months.. So you'll see it at the rolling road day! I can see why people rate it so highly, even as a standard car. (and even more so now I have fitted the non-restrictive JDM manifold and exhaust system) - Vtec is a whole heap of fun, and the steering/LSD turns in so tightly, and allows you to power out so much quicker and smoother. It may not be a complete upgrade from a GTi-6, but it's noticeable one. Much glad I chose this over a more more expensive and quite frankly boring array of EP3 CTR's I test drove. Will post more pictures up when I have it back from the body shop in a few weeks time,. Ry |

Terry it is infact deceptively quick! having a sharp turn in and the ability to power out of corners so much quicker with the LSD digging in is brilliant! It's a superb machine and when driving it hard, makes you ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm sure me or Graham will offer out passenger rides! I'm interested to see the difference in power curve compared with Graham's, as his 98 spec has a 4-1 exhaust manifold, and mine has the 96 spec 4-2-1 manifold. |

Yeah for sure - Did you do any of that stuff this time? One thing to note is that 1st and 2nd gear are over so quickly, it's a shame in a way! ![]() ![]() |

Sounds like the fez zetec s ![]() We did a couple of passenger rides at the end of the meet but some people had to leave abit earlier. Just found an awesome road which takes you in a circle from the pub and back to the pub that I didnt know about till yesterday so we can do rides on there next time if there are too many cars to do the kind of thing we did when you were there ![]() |

Book me in for a ride. You can have a ride in my new mystery car, can even get 5 in as it isn't about speed so doesn't matter. |

Sounds good, Dave! Andy, I wish I had the money for a 2nd car! I just see all my cars as a daily driver. Reality check! It stops me from wasting my time thinking about what I 'could' do with it ![]() I didn't really keep it quiet, I've just been busy sorting things out on it and so forth. Honest ![]() |

Rear arches and skirts dude! quite rotten so having it all chopped away, welded, smoothed and both entire sides of the car sprayed/blended in. These old Honda's rust just as badly as Ford's! If not worse. |
