hey all new to the forum thought id post some pics up of the old biscuit tin lol

didnt have any pics of it before cos i didnt really go on forums etc
but this is how it is now

in my garage getting ready for a strip down

the engine that come out... will be getting some pistons/rods when i can afford!!
hidden cost is the engineering work!

standard pistons measured at 84.8 at the bores

iv currently got the head fully assembled but will strip down and get it all spotless.
been lookin at putting bigger valves in the head but the machining work is going to cost a bomb!!

iv just bought a t3 turbo in mint condition hardly any play in the shaft up and down no play what so ever in and out.

got hold of this ex manifold which to be honest look nice but the weight of it doesnt speak reliablilty lol
been told its an OBX?

i have also put the cossie brakes on cant remember what the diameter is but they fit lush with 15" wheels

im doing this on a budget but im in no rush and want everything to be to a nice standard lol
will be doing the work myself so if you see anything bodge tell me and il try to correct!!!

you decided on a spec for your engine yet?

cheers for the comment buddy :D , i love my saph saved my nuts off to get it :crazi: :lol:

after a year and a half i can say i'm not use to power yet :D , as its my 1st rwd car i take it easy most of the time and when i'm out and about i have a quick blast and thats about it, i drive like miss daisy most of the time and most on here cant vouch for that :wack:

but i must say i have been a little more brutal with it since it was put back together after my cambelt went last year :devil:

more boost is coming, hopefully in the next few weeks i'll have my closed loop, new chip and coil pack fitted :devil: :D

mine still scares me a little, especially when your doing 70mph on the motorway and you want to over take so you use the loud pedal and have the back end want to step out and chuck you into the car next to you :wth: :lol:

with my shitty tires on in the wet it'll light the wheels up in 5th still :wack:

i'm using a T34.55 and iirc its peaks @ 1.6bar and holds 1.4 bar of boost, more to come tho from the new chip :bow:

got my manifold today not bad for £30 delivered

rover 220 early type manifold.
when i had my rover turbo was told the "turbo" manifold was better for high revving and the "injection" manifold was better for more torque.

i tried both on my rover turbo only difference i could find is that the turbo spooled a little quicker with the "turbo" labelled one.

i might have a go at making the adaptor plate myself but for the 60-70 quid it costs i might just treat myself :thumbsup:

anyone else using one of these on the zetec??

also anyone heard of using nissan s13 side feed injectors in the zetec bolt in rail?

yeah true t34 is big enough lol and to have that sort of responsiveness must keep your back tyres on fire :lol:
bet you shread them if you drive like a noob.

i do have a 2.0 fez, which isn't doing much at the mo as its not got an MOT :cry:

your manifold looks good :thumbsup: , there are a few zetecs that use them, but not seen much info on them, i'll do some digging about for you :D

nice one mate i thought it was nissan forgot weather it was s13/14 lol.
as for the mani i looked up on ebay and they sell inlet manis that are made for kit car or caterham but to be honest they look a bit funny lol

just had a look on ebay to get the html and they have disappeared but they where blue in colour and looked like they where welded by a monkey with bottle bottom glasses :lol: :lol:

trying to find this bloody inlet adapter and cant find it now so going to have a go at makin me own!!

oh just to let anyone reading this know....

found 2 well undercover cars today!
a mitsubishi RVR - its an evo with a people carrier shell complete 2 ltr turbo with 4wd running gear!!!
a toyota aristo v300 - normal lexus gs300 but its got a straight 6 twin turbo engine indentical to a supra!!!
aristos seem to seel for an average of 2.5-4k well cheap bang for buck

look them up on youtube and they dont look that bad speed wise either lol
mad cars my mate has decided to buy the aristo as his run about we went on a few forums and to make about 400rwhp all you need is fuel pump, bigger injectors, exh, a/filter and bigger turbo to 12psi!!
stock engine and box is good for 600bhp so when he gets it il post up some progress on the jap crap.
