Havent been online in a while...been one of those weeks sadly
but i had a busy weekend so heres a quick run down/update on the clioBought as so
16v with Williams engine, cammed, green cotton filter, exhaust and de-cat.
Faults were leaky sunroof, gearbox gone and powersteering leak. so spend the weekend gutting her to fix her up.
while apart i changed the box, She has a new clutch and new clutch cable new mount and new suspension.
I found the engine mount in this condition
the top half as you can see is very bent to...don't ya love torque
Also the suspension i took of was cut on one side and not the other see how bad it is:
so replaced with new ones only a small drop tho
I put it all back together then, gave her a damn good clean and polish as she was standing for a long time as shes come out very well in my opinion
oo i also lowered the back slightly to.
Also added the williams stickers as they were included with the car for free
Shes never been welded and the arches are very very good.
Next on the list :
- remove the small dent out of the drivers side rear arch
- replace missing a passenger side quarter trim.
- Refurb the wheels
cant decide on what colour to do them.lol- Also ordered a new exhaust system as the tail pipe is set wayyyyyyyyyy to for back for me
- Then its onto smaller jobs, detailing etc.lol
