Thought I would start a project log on my 1.25zetec Fiesta.
This is what the MK4 Replaced.

After the engine blew up, i purchased this MK4 for Â£850 with a full years MOT and four brand new tyres (not that the tyres mattered

)

The First Modification I did was put my Si 5 Spokes on.

I then debadged,put clear side repeaters on, fitted a ghia spec interior light and Ford KA Ariel

After getting a puncture on the Si alloys, and deciding that they didnt suit the car, I purchased these with 5 brand new tyres.

I then got this Spoiler off ebay for the pricey sum of Â£1.21!

I then fitted the alloys

I then started Colour Coding.

and Black Eye'ing the lights

Lights fitted

I then removed the rear bumper to see if there was any rust, and there wasnt

Thanks to Trecoll for the rear Bumper

I then fitted my spoiler

and fitted my colourcoded Mirrors

I fitted my rear bumper

and picked up a front bumper

soon it looked like this

Bumper Fitted

New Plates

Ford Fair 2009 Freshen Up

Another Freshen Up while waiting for new tyres to arrive at the garage

Tyres Being Fitted (Yoko S drives)

Picked Up a full Cat Back System while on Holiday

Fitted Sub and Amp

Raised Bonnet

Started Smoothing BootLid

After someone reversed into me and cracked all my bumper

Fitted My Yellow Bulbs

Fited ZS Brakes

And painted my Drums

Picked Up some Spax Springs <40mm

I then stripped my interior after finding it flooded from the recent flooding in my area.

New Bumper-Again

Black Carpet

Sorry for it being so long, but i have done quite a bit since June when i got her!

Got My Grille today, which will be resprayed Red

I will then cut the slats out of the center and mesh with black meshing

Got my cool air feed pipe which will be fitted once i get my new Cone Filter on

Thats about it for now, until the warmer weather arrives.

Finished a little bit of colour coding today, the dial surround, the colour is Polaris Grey, and the alloys will be done in this colour too.

Grille has got the chop

Black Mesh is ready to go in once the grille turns red

Bumper is a little more whiter Primer than last time

Frozen Cup of Tea after working in the garage at night!

Mirrors and Baseplates nice and clearly, ready for red.

Got my new Bushings for the suspension also, just got to wait to fit them!

Thats about it for today.

Got my brakes done the otherday, first time moving my car after the snow settled, and its rubbish. Dont even bother.

Got my Fog Lights fitted, only until i get my Bumper Sprayed Red

Okay so I got my car back on Friday, so i cleaned her today, managed to get the first stage of the Meguirs kit on the bootlid, and then it became foggy and misty

I then test fitted my Cool Air Feed, but i need a thinner pipe

And another engine shot

Got myself a Blanking Grommit for my Rear Wiper, its now Red, dried and going to let it harden over the next few days and they Clear Laquer and Fit

Sprayed My Interior Light, practiced with this one, and will try on my Map Lights another day

Sprayed my Dash Surround in Polaris Grey

Need to refit the stereo as it come undone today, and at the same time, spray the stereo facia to match the rest

Started Spraying one door handle, need to get the other now...Thats Ash Black

Also finished spraying my Mirror Baseplates, they are Ash Black also.

Got some good news also managed to get a Front Bumper, already sprayed up Pro for Â£40 couriered

Progress is picking up! :twisted:

For some reason the car looks orange, crap phone

Will be getting lowered next week as my front springs have snapped

Yeh, good match

Grille is ready for Laquer

One Mirror needs sanding as it has a run, but otherwise ready for Laquer

Sprayed the Battery Clamp

Also Sprayed the Positive Cover, Oil Cap and Expansion Tank Cover

Started to rub down One Alloy, which is what im going to have to do as i have one spare alloy, forgot to use hardening paste for the filler, oops

Started to Spray my Heater Surround, Stereo Surround and Facia.

Finished the Mesh

and bought one wiper blade, as they didnt have any other in stock for a few days
