I think ive shown some pics before but i thought id make a thread

1991 fiesta rs turbo, one owner from new (I bought it from the original owner), extremely mint, waxoyled everywhere, theres brand new Koni suspension all round, greenstuff pads up front with drilled and grooved disks... both also brand new, it has some kind of exhaust on her even tho ive owned her for a while now i haven't checked lol.

theres a couple of small scratches on her but thats getting done before she comes back on the road

shes done 87k but to look at you wouldnt think shes done much more than 30k, the only bit of rust on her is the weather strips on the doors, I pick up brand new ones from ford on monday

she runs like a dream, before I bought her she hadn't moved for around 2 years, started first time with a new battery!

cant wait to get out to the shows next year in her, i think with her looking mostly original and how clean she is... she should turn a few heads

anyways enough talking here is the pictures




















she needs a big clean, and i assure you she will be gleaming... the marks under the back bumper is waxoyl, that stuff really is everywhere.

the only problem i have is the rear pop out windows, the buttons have started to rust and the window has been a bit stained, i have new buttons, but before i fit them id like to clean the stains off... does anyone know how to do this?

its all a matter of time now dan, phoning my insurance company monday to see if i can get some kind of temp cover for the car so i can take it to Ford in pont for an MOT, then all i have to do it wait for it to be sunny and shes sorted lol.

My rs had the rusty stains too. The only thing that gets them off is jiff mate, rub it on the glass with some tissue, works a treat!

i think the 4 of us welsh people (me, dan, jason and elward) need to go for a photoshoot in the near future think that would be different since all our cars are modded differently lol

possible plans include

3dr cosworth wheels
mk3.5 mirrors

... Thats it... Everything will be kept so i can go back to standard if need be...

Im just gonna enjoy her shes my first turbo and the couple of times ive driven her put thee biggest smile on my face ever... Mainly due to the chatter but the other reason being she drives like a new car, hard to find a rst these days that havent been fucked up lol

oh and elward, them gti wheels are back up for grabs.

im buying some mk3.5 mirrors off jason on the weekend so thats that bit sorted, know for a set of 3dr cosworth wheels, still got the original D40 tyres on them... They have done 100 miles from new... £300.. But i think ill leave them as the 205 50s will scrub like fuck... Why cant they have 195 45s on em lol.

Thanks for the comments, planning on getting the MOT done before xmas so there will be loads of pics up then... Everyone seems to think shes gonna fly an MOT but we'll have to see lol

Photoshoot sounds good plan as said on the phone. My car due "mild" changes this weekend so will have fiestas of all styles
