first thing sand down what ever is on that bumper, next get the engine cleaned as its disgusting, pmsl other than that looking good dude!! very nice for a freebie ![]() |

Nice car there mate. I'm sure I've seen part of this car before.........with a rusty hole it it! ![]() ![]() ![]() As said, get that filler off the bumper (or sanded smooth). Good to see another si being saved, keep up the good work mate ![]() |

wrap up any electrical parts with plastic bags, cover air filter. empty a tin of GUNK over the bay ![]() scrub with a brush and wash off all the crap... job done!! ![]() |

Keep the standard si bumpers on mate and put xr2i skirts and arches on, looks better than aftermarket bumpers or anything like that! ![]() |

welcome mate and nice freebie as for the bumper use 80grit followed by 240 or 320 then use 600 or 800 wet and dry to smooth it off nicely ![]() ![]() |

Its the power steering fluid crossover pipe mate. If you remove that the fluid will just spill out. You would have to drain the power steering fluid first (or collect it in a jug when you break the joing to stop it going all over the engine bay!) ![]() |

there is a haynes specifially for the si, just use the 1 u have and it hould do the job. £200 for a full respray, im guessing that just sprayed over the car as it is, no prep or anything? |

best 1 for the si is the haynes 1595, it has some zetec, only 8v but its pretty much the same. |
