well i have a 1.6 si and and i now have the 1.8 lump sitting in thr garden im startin the strip down tomorro and im going to repain the engine bay clean it all up ..

Hope it all goes well. It should do, compare the pins of the two ecu's and see if they are the same. Im sure it will just plug straight in

I've got a CULT ecu from a M reg RS1800 not sure if it works tho as it wouldn't work on my mk3 XR2i 1.8 i would only wont the price of postage for it

soo any ways i have been prepiring the block for install cleaning and painting .. yh i know i lovee blue   installing it maybe this weekend just wighting on the ecu check that all works fine just need to cleaan the sump

probs the year mine has internal edis ... all i need now is the cams if im not goin cruzin this weekend im gona take the 1.6 out and paint the engine bay and make it all look fresh! |
