hey people, its beeen a long time since i have been on here :)

bought a 2.0 silvertop the other week to build up and use as a track car, the engine had a suggested milage of 70k. its either going in a fiesta si/mk2 fiesta or maybe, maybe a puma :/ lol

this is a learning experiece for me having never rebuilt an engine and my knowledge being mainly around the zetec-se engines. Im sure i will have loads of questions which im sure you people will point me in the right direction :)

first one is breather. 2nd one is part of the EGR...Bin fodder i think youll find! the fuel pressure reg is normally near or on the injector rail.

is it true i can use the st170 headgasket as it is triple steel layer for cheapish price from ford?

or whats the best headgasket in your oppinions ??

did a little more today, pistons out etc

only thing is i fucked up the thread on the crank where the flywheel bolts to it :( have to get that machined for a new thread, just hope i can find the right size flywheel bolts after the thread is made bigger :look:

i quick question people... do the 1.4 SI share the same engine mounts as the 1.6? e.g will the 2.0 drop straight in a 1.4.
