well, about 3 weeks ago i killed her, bottom end knock!, on the plus side tho ive seen what a 2.0 escort is meant to go like and it was faster than mine for some reason, so when shes back out hopefully she should go like the other one!
so now im nearly finished with the engine swap i thought id chuck some pics up
new engine is out of a 55k mondeo mk2 silvertop.
painted it all up nicely before she went in, new belts, spark plugs, 2.0 lambda sensor...

new engine all built and ready to go in
cuts on my finger from trying to scrape the metal fillings from the bottom of the sump, needless to say they were pretty much welded to the bottom lol
and some pics of it in ready to be put back together... im not doing the gearbox as i dont think it will be long before shes dead, and when the time comes there will be somthing a bit nice going in...
should be finishing her off tomorrow and be back on the road then!
