Wonder if anyone can help me. Once I get this car I'm going to be selling my 1.1 mk3 Fiesta.
What kind of price should I ask for it.
Its recently had:
New battery
New cat
UJ was recently rebuilt (as it had seized up)
Shoes and something else replaced at the back (brakes were fecked)
MOTs dating back from when it was first MOTed.
Loads of reciepts of work done by me and brother in law (who owned car before me)
Brought a new spare for it which is in the boot.
Its got upgraded speakers in it but I'll be buggered if I know what they are as I took them from my brothers golf before he sold it on. They sound very good even without a sub.
Theres very little rust, only patch I've found is a 50p sized patch by the back N/S wheel-arch. Its clean below though.
MOTed till march 2010
taxed till march 2010
Its covered 67500 miles (at this point in time might go up by another 30 or so before the new car)
Bad things are
Needs a new drivers wing mirror as the mirror is cracked but it has passed its MOT with this wing mirror + crack
New wing mirror will cost £20 (as I've already replaced the passenger one that someone kindly removed for me one night)
Front bumper needs replacing as again that got kicked by some drunk who ran off when he realised my dad was behind him

been quoted £40 for that, whole bumper
Small chip in windscreen on passenger side (has passed its MOT with this chip in it)
Scratch from some bint outside morrisons on the passenger side. Just needs the paint touched up.
Ah stone chips on the bonnet lid (plus some bugs if ya like that

)
Engine still runs sweet. Better now I brought some decent oil for it. Been serviced by me and my dad recently as its covered 7k since its last one.
Hasn't missed a beat in the year I've owned it. Always enjoyed the shocked look that I see from people when I pull away quicker then them in this little old fiesta, its very nippy. First car so I'm quite attached to it, but clueless as to what its worth.
Anyway no more blabbering on, how much you think I should ask for it as a starting offer?
