It's starting to grow on me, I'm really not keen on the front lights though. And personally i'd take off the 'sport' badge on the rear too, or all of them maybe. Paul. |

i think once you've driven it, touching 6000rpm each gear change you would fall in love with it so much more 
acrebo did the 172 clio2 p1 come with the green gear shift light? or is it a 182

PORN Went to look at a 172 Cup today.  It was mint, shame I couldnt rummage around in my pockets and come up with the ?8k price tag. But it was the sh1t to be fair :D

Cheers Paul, have you got Renault contacts or something? It certainly is a case of a car you just fall in love with when you experience the 5000rpm 'kick', I've only managed it in 2nd and 3rd and won't attempt it in 4th until I'm on a motorway! I love the appearance of it, but it is a bit of an acquired taste. But the drivability and pure raw fun will bring anyone round. I've got the green shift light as well, but I think this was only on some of the Mk1 172's... I've only seen it once though! The 'sport' badge is there for a reason and will most certainly be staying. I think it would look very strange without it... don't think I've ever seen a de-badged Renaultsport to be honest. And scott, you'll get there soon son, certainly worth the wait! |

well yeah im working for the R word at the moment.. dont see many 172s coming back to be fair which is good! whats that saying .. "don't make um like they used to"
