well it was time for a new car, so i have been on the look out for something sporty and modern. Toyota Celica, i wanted a 190 but insurance was silly at 1200 for a year an5d when im wanting to mov1e out it wasnt practical, so i settled for a 140 i went to look at today. 60k miles, all the usal toyota goodies, 3 month warrenty, 51reg, silver with the bigger rear wing. feels so nice to drive compared to the fiesta, responcive steering and amazing brakes, my first car with abs and discs all around anyway picked it up for £3900. its going into the body shop tomorrow to have away scrapes on the bumpers repaired and afew scratchs then it will be ready for me to collect. i think it was a real steel at that price and mileage+body work being fixed to showroom standerds!

thanks, i agree with bigger wheels, nice set of either 18inch 5 spokes or mulitis would look nice, like on the gt! they seriously dont look like 16s on it atm

cool! the 190 would have been nice but insurance was just silly, nearly double what i am going to be paying on this!

i only took it upto 7k once on the test drive and i did feel it kick in and the engine noise change a hell of alot! starts pulling hard at about 4k

cant wait to pick it up now!

They are 16s? I suppose its the size of the car and how big they are compared, 16's on mine looks great

yup there 205/55 16s lol, they actually look smaller in the pics tbh but i still think it needs bigger wheels, feels weird driving compared to the si, feels huge, and weird looking out of a slanted rear window

VVTi isn't like VTEC is it? It just allows the intake cam (usually, sometimes the exhaust cam on newer versions) to alter it's timing in relation to the other cam so that the intake and exhaust cams are open at the same time for a fraction of a second. Whereas VTEC changes the actual cam profile so that the valves are open more, for a longer period, giving more power. VVTi is for better effiency and smoother driving.
