Engine: 1.6i 16v Zetec with aprox. 100K miles on the clock
Trim: Ghia (heated front window, 2 airbags (driver and passenger), electric opperated windows, electricly opened booth, bucket seats
Audio: - Front: factory speakers
- rear: 2 x 9"x6" JBL GTO series speakers, 100watt RMS 300 watt peek @2 Ohm + 1 x 12" Spectron twin ported sub 300watt RMS @4 ohm
- headunit: JVC CD/Mp3 radio
- Amp: 1 x JBL Grand Touring Series, 2 x 142watt RMS @2 ohm (the 9x6's) + 1 x 284 watt RMS @ 4ohm (sub)
So enough to make your ears hurt.




How the car looks like at the moment...

The essie plus the greasmonkey (me) who's restoring it

Specs:
Type: Mk4 Escort 1.4 Bravo from 1987
Engine: a carburated 1.4 CVH
Milage: aprox. 152k miles (+245k km's)
It's 100% original with exception of the radio and front speakers.
I'm going to keep this one 100% original since there aren't many "normal" Mk4's around.

Can you say... rustworm?


What do you mean, Ford's don't rust? It's an extra which you get for free from the factory

old fords and rust , your doing a good job tho,your garage/work area looks massive

It was big yeah. 15m by 5m. Had a 400V 32amp socket for heavy machinery to run on and a lot of single 230v 16amp sockets all over the place.
But, like most things, that came to an end when the owner of that garage wanted to charge me double (€220 per month instead of €110... which is a lot of money for a student) so I told him to sod off, packed my stuff and headed back home where it's now safely stored underneath my parent's little garage where I can work on every single day (if I feel like it).

The main plans for the Si are just to make it look all tighty again on the inside and outside and to get a few bugs out of the system, like the engine running rather rough and inregular during cold idle. Also the lower controle-arm bushes which will get replaced this weekend by some new PU ones from Powerflex.
