right then, im sure a couple of people on here have wondered if my si even exists as its not seen a road in 4 years, lol Its been kept in my moms garage and not even started in over a year so last week i went and checked it over for rust etc and to see if its still worth sorting out.. and guess what it started first time, yipeeee. doesnt matter tho as that engine is coming out. lol sooooooooo fast forward to today and i have had it on a low loader and brought over to my house where it will be worked on in a nice warm full electric garage.. now i know its not a pretty sight but it will be mint once i have sorted the body work out and had it sprayed front ![]() side 1 ![]() side 2 ![]() boot ![]() and finally at rest at my house ![]() now i can get a certain someone off here over to help get rid of the poxy 1.4 and get some real power on the go!! ![]() ![]() |

fit my cossie bib this morning, the bumper bolts were a lot easier to get off this time as i put some coppergrease on before i put it back on, ![]() i used some "L" shaped brackets to give some extra support in the middle and pop riveted them on, ![]() Also trial fit the morettes to see what it will all look like together, just need to have a bit of imagination to see it all in black, lol ![]() |

looks very nice, im toying with the idea of a cossie bib on mine in gloss black.....hmmm as for your mk4 ghia light its easy to wire up, the 2 point plug with the brown wires going into it needs to be cut in half so there 2 seperate plugs and they go onto the 2 prongs next to each other in a sort of L shape then the red wire plugs onto the metal plate, ill get a pic for you btw its a real pig to fit into the car though ![]() ![]() ![]() |

cheers jamie, i worked it out in the end, ive ended up cutting away all the plastic on the light tho, cut a big hole in the metal and bent the rest of the lip up, cut away a load of the roof lining and had to stick it up with no nails, lol. just waiting for it to dry now so i can take the tape off!! |
