well now a few people know, i thought id get a thread up showin my latest motor vehicle.
its a 1993 Toyota MR2, Revision 2, 2.0 16V N/A.
i got it 8th Jan 2009. i got sick of Fords and wanted something different. Something RWD. i wittled it down to either an E36 BMW 3 Series or a Toyota MR2. The MR2 came up trumps as they were goin cheaper than the beemers and the fact they look soo much sportier.
i found this on Pistonheads, it was standard apart from the k&n filter and the full blue flame exhaust system including de-cat.
it was happy days, and even more so when a chap at work said his missus' ex had left some Enkei Racing wheels in MR2 fitment at her parents and never claimed them.
so for a bargain price i snapped them up. they were in poor nick and needed refurbishing. i knew i wanted them in black and with a polished lip, so i went about doing so when i had a week off work while house sitting for my sister.
instead of endless finger-fcuking i decided to nitro-mors the wheels to get them back to fresh metal and go from there. although i had to flat the lip of the wheels in every grade of paper to ensure they came up shiney! it took ages!
after paint and a major polish it was time to get em on the car.i also fitted my new number plates, complete with Japanese Kamikaze Rising Sun logo
then a few weeks ago the smoked indicators/side lights arrived from JDM, which i fitted. i painted my front fogs black as i dont use them and paint the red bar in the front grill matt black to finish off the black/red look. also painted all four brake calipers red.
these are the pics from today, gave it a clean and went for a drive looking for random places to take pics.

that sucks
