hi ppl,

just thort id post a few pics up of my new Si that ive had for 2 weeks now.. bought for 150 pound with an rs1800 engine with it... i did used to drive an imperial blue xr2i with my zetec turbo engine in it but unfortunatly becuase of the ice we had on the roads i lost control and plowed into another car.. and becuase mot was up not long after and the sills etc werent lookin to good then selves i decided to buy a Si shell off a friend...

so over a long weekend i stripped the engine out of this one and put it into the si...

I LOVE the old car, but that Si sleeper is awesome.

- Comparing the amount of IC open to the air on both cars, is it not going to be restricted slightly by the Si bumper?

*coming from someone who knows little about that kinda thing, so be gentle, lol.*

yea the intercooler is bit restricted there to be fair but i was nice n easy to get behind the bumper... when i come to fitting the bumper back on i was worryin that i might have to chop a load out to get it on but wherent that bad as u can see..

the car isnt running any big spec atm due to lack of fundss....

basically its running ofab management and t3 and the obvious zorst n filter lol

only running it at 5 psi of boost atm due to the injectors etc not coping and i cant afford and breaksdowns as its my daily driver... done about 10000 miles on the engine so far and no problems at all with it

not sure power wise what its running but as it is now keeps up with type R's, vw 20v turbos etc and can beat all the lads in there vts's so im quite happy with that.

got few plans for the near future which are..... uprated furl pump, bieges, fuel pressure reg, and custom mapped chip, then run it at about 10psi (as its on a de-comp plate) so shud see some nice power figures off that

oh my word.... driving up the M6 today and my mate sends me a picture message ...... of THIS EXACT Si ha ha ha. he saw it in stafford tesco car park and thought i mite like it lol..... i do indeed!!!!

still looks pretty damn good for a budget build!

kinda wish i'd finished mine now!

Vince!!! i didnt know u were on here, its nice to see that my old si has finally got a goood home. i was worried it was going to be scrapped. i spent shed loads on this, and in turn so did kellog. glad its back on the road mukka, it sounded amazing sunday nite dwn the a38. u owe me a ride son.





oh the memories, this is the 1 car i regret selling the most. so wish is still had it. vince IF you ever decide to sell, please let me know.

its a georgeous car. when ive got enough milage out of mine i want to either drop in a turbo engine of some sort or a 2 litre so i can keep up with all the others if we have anouther southern meet
