Strips are good, leave them on it. Personally I'd change the wheels, lower it a bit more. Be nice to have a shocking exhaust sticking out the back and to sort that vent out on the drivers side  It always makes me think some fat bitch had sat on your bonnet and pushed the vent in.

Keep the oh-so early 90's green bits, just like the xr's blue ones they keep the car in era it comes from.  unless you dont want to be reminded of a time when bermuda shorts, shell suits and nintendo ruled the world!
I personally would get rid of the swage lines on the bootlid so its like a 3.5 one, and also put a black dash in (if u could be arsed) im mega jealous though!
