Okay. Bought myself this car on my 17th Birthday. First few mods were simple things like wheel trims and windscreen wipers

Skipping on abit. On the 12th December had a collision with a Ford Escort. He rolled onto his side :devil:

Here it is after my repairs vvvv

Got some new number plates, as the reflectiveness was dissapearing!

Here is the car i got my front end off!

After a few weeks. I went down the scrapyard and picked up this vvvvvv

cost me a tenner :lol:

these are the only rough parts i found...

Fitted the bumpers

Boot Interior(scrapyard job£5)

Converted to this :lolz:

Wired up the fogs

Started to clean the engine bay :lol:

Before F.I.T.P i want to...

Buy and fit SI interior
Finish carpeting and fitting neons to the boot build.
Fit exhaust?
Clean up the roof lining.
Fix rusty sill
GET ALLOYS!

MOT Is due in april :frown:

if it passed im keeping it, if it fails and it is more serious stuff, i will be getting rid of it and getting a 1.4si

Found out something good. MOT isnt until June 3rd

:)

Done a bit of stuff. since last time i have

Spark Plugs
HT Leads (2 were broke)
Oil Filter
New thinner oil

I got a bit of a list before F.I.T.P...

looks so much better with si bumpers. nice to see it in red mate.

wot alloys u after? ford have a great range of alloys as standard. rs2000 wheels look lush, as do mondeo/ esc gti wheels.

well, to be honest, i like my steelies, my brand new tyres are only costing me £75 for 4 tyres! Depending on money, i probs wont be having alloys for f.i.t.p

I do like the looks of Ghia alloys. Sprayed black...But my trims look good :lolz:

the front is low enough on the front, but the back looks high because there is no spare tyre, no interior and no seats in the back.

but is it me or is the front bumper not fitted right? looks like their is a huge gap between the bonnet and bumper and lights and bumper

may be worth loosening the bolts and pushing the bumper up and doing them back up

what it is, when i was doing some work on the car, i drove up a pair of ramps and i caught the front bumper on it, and ripped the bumper away from the body, leaving the bolts and metalwork on the car, but im dropping a bolt straight though the bumper into the body to hold it in place...still loving it tho!
