i finnnny got my car its a fezzy 1.6 si in red whitch looks black/blue lol im going to pick it up sunday ill post pics asap lol it cost me £235 wot u guys think also i may need help later to get her back into tip top condition as she needs a mot in febuary |

lol thanks i just rang him and there one minur misshap his got a flat tyre and destyyed it lol but im getting £50 off the proce as im picking it up at 12pm ill get pics up asap |

right got it home just lol right if i full throttle it slowlly its ok but if u full throttle quiclkly it lags and dont rev higher but it sould deeper when it does plus half way home we lost power and was missfireing badlly but then returned back to normal what could this be im just uploading pics now |

sounds like a ir of fueling issue. try cleaning the maf as a first post of call. also changing things like the air filter and fuel would be good as you can never tell when they were last done |

Looks mint mate! As said above, check air filter, plugs, leads etc (just give it a general service) then if the problem still remains then you can narrow it down from there. Just need to get rid of those lexus lights and it will be sorted! On the first pic the front D/S headlight looks out of line, check its fixed properly and not damaged

i no the headlight only have 2 mounts but i am reoligning them 2morro iv been fiddleing around with the interur wot u think the lexus light are ok for now hehe my main issue is the engine and getting it though the MOT OH AND I CAN NOT FIND ANY RUST APART FROM A 3CM CERCLE IN ONE OF THE SIILS I COULD NOT HE HAPPIER

all the things i check whenever my zetec engine runs like a sack.. MAF ISCV Plugs (specially the gap, zetec engines are picky) Plug leads Fuel filter Air Filter Also if you have a CAT, it could be nackered / blocked making it run like a sack? Try resetting the ECU, unplug the battery overnight and let it learn everything again the next day

nice solid looking si, the zetecs do like to go through ht leads but i reacon its a easy fix, just don't thrash it until its sorted

change the fuel filter and check the tank isnt just filled to the red, remove your downpipe and cat and turn it up on end. if loads of bits (tiny tiny grains usually) fall out your cats knackerd and when your reving up all the bits are blocking the honeycombe inside it thus choking your engine. with fuel, i had this issue and it was because the pump was sucking all the crap at the bottom of the tank, filled it right up changed the filter and no problems. filter is a push in fit connector, push the two lil tabs in and pull the connector of the filter end, same for the other end. |
