Hello again! As some of you was aware i couldnt afford to get my old si on the road. So i thought id go out and buy another mk3.

Its a 1.3 pushrod tap tap tap, saphhyyyy! electric windows and central locking!
51K on the clock.

so here it is. Plans are to have SI bumpers - which i have just bought, purchased some si 5 spokes too. Its going satin black, orange wheels (maybe) chequers on the roof or bonnet, or a rusty bonnet. Basically its goin rat look or something like that. Needs dropping on its bum and an exhaust. I just feel like being different and i have not seen it done. Plus its a run about for a while. I like to be noticed

changed my mind again. just gona make it an si rep - i want some mondao 5 spokes eventually. Just goin to colour code the si bumpers to the colour of the car and go from there.

Thanks guys. Its only to tie me over for some time, got to get them no claims up!

Finished putting the bumpers on yesterday, changed the oil ect.

Looks better allready, me and my friend are going to spray the bumpers next week possibly. And all i need to do now is get the valve sorted on one of the si alloys and get the other 2 on!

Excuse the sh*t pics, need to take some with the digi sometime when the weather plays ball.

NCB is overrated anyway, its alllll daft lol
Last year... 3NCB, Fiat Uno 1.0 1989 - £380 a year ... RS1800 1.8 1995 - £500 :rolleyes:

Coming up to 4NCB in a few weeks.... cheapest quote I can find is 400.. pah.

Well its all happening now. I have decided to slap a 1.8 zetec in it. Got the engine and all the bits i need, shoul be sorted in the next few week.

Today and a few other days i have aquired some bits for it. Fitted SI interior today, put a si boot spoiler on it and just been tidying things up. Also got some si arches to put on. Going to be looking for some escort gti skirts soon i think. Aslo lowering and getting the bumpers sprayed the same colour as the car as they are still java blue! Also got some smoked side repeaters to put on. Going to underseal it soon as i sont want it to rot.

Thats about it really. Did have some compomotives on it for a bit but they were kiling the arches so i put the si ones back on for the time being. cant think of anything else. Shall tke some piccys soon.

Cheers mate. Its one step ata time at the moment. Just undersealed it today and found i need a patch welding on the inner rear wing, nothing bad just needs sorting. Ill put pics up soon

Ayup mate its jimbob who bort your si ,shes slowly gettin there got some 5 spoke modeos there going gun metal grey this week hopefully got to get some new rubber on em thts costin like 260 lol ,had a quote for 700 to fit cossie front bumper zetec s back bumper combat skirts and arches and me smoothed boot and spray same colour so hopefully should be to long probs be few month need to get some serious cash saved ,good to see you have a new project and that its a fez ,thought you said you was a VW man ?will have to meet up when our cars are done mate if ur up for that .

And yeah sure, sounds like a plan.

And yea i am a vw man, just bought this fez as a run around and now im bored with 1.3 power, so i went and got everything for a 1.8 conversion, probly keep it for a bit and sell it. Have to wait and see
