Well, i dont think i have ever put up a post about my car so im starting a new one! haha.

My car is a 1.3 mk3.5 fiesta in dark aubergine purple.

Ive had my car over a year now and have been driving over a year now too.

My car once started out as a normal fiesta when i bought it. I liked it alot, but i already had plans for it, so, in the first few weeks i lowered it 30mm on spax shocks and springs and put alloys on it.



Then, in my first few weeks of driving.. i had an accident!

This involved a tree and a ditch lol.



I got this partially sorted out within a day.. bit of panel beating took place.




Then over the next few months, more and more things came together, like exhaust, painted calipers, sound system... as you will probably see later on.

Then time went on, and i fell in love with the look of the Si fiesta's.. so i thought to myself 'it has to be done!' and it slowly did!

So anyway, back in june of this year, i went up to see garry_noble to get some bits for my car - very decent fella! Because he offered all the parts to me for free, but i couldnt take them without giving him some money. Also fell in love with his car while i was up at his too!





Thats all the bits he gave me!

So i fitted the front bumper and instantly had a huge smile on my face, it was the first step to the Si look!

And also that day, i replaced the orange side repeaters with some clear ones!



I also fitted the tinted rear quarters i got from garry too.



Then i got my hands on some skirts and arches from a mate of mine.



I needed to spray these up to the same colour as mine.. but i left this for a while.

Anyway, i installed a 3rd brake light which i thought was quite cool.



Then i saw spunknik was selling an Si rear bumper, so i went and got that off him around july time. Very nice guy too!



Then i got a boot spoiler from someone off fiestaturbo.com (black2i)



At this point i was really happy because the car had the Si look that i always wanted

Then, i got myself some Team HEKO wind deflectors which work a treat, and i really like them!



Then, about a months ago, i got some smoked rear lights which i love the look of.



Recently i have replaced the gearbox because it went tits up.

And in the last few days, i have started on the skirts and arches!



And this is pretty much how the car looks right now.



I do have a fair few future plans for it, one of the main ones is to put a larger engine in it, like a 2 litre mondeo engine. But i might wait for a while as im only 19 and i dont think the insurance will like it lol. Plus, i have no money! Typical student!

A little info about me for you too, im at college doing mechanics. Im in my 3rd year. Im a level 2 qualified city and guilds mechanic, and my 3rd year at the moment is basically diagnosotics. So when i finish, i will be a qualified level 3 mechanic/technician. Erm, i do typical student things - get drunk and party and the best thing of all... i love my car

Its in really good nick too (in terms of rust etc), how many miles has it done?

I'm in the same position as you in terms of engine mate. I'm 19 at the mo and am also a student so can't afford the insurance for a 2.0ltr mondy engine at the mo, but wen I'm 21 its going in!

Cheers guys, its pretty much a minter! Only like 1 patch of rust and thats it! The sills and the whole of the underneith is mint too

Its done 110K miles or nearish that now. Which is alot, but, the engine has no problems at all, runs sweet as a nut still

Looks pretty damn good, and I normally hate seeing people put Si bumpers on nowadays

Also, you'd be suprised how much it will cost for insurance with 2.0ltr in.. get some quotes and see you are 19, its not as if your 17 and first passed

Went out for a quick drive today after a quick clean and polish, on the way home, thought i would get a load of pics of my car playing with different lighting effects ect.

LOTS of pics lol.

Still need to get the rear window tinted Xmas pressie hopefully Also need new indicator because it has a crack and water gets in

But things still to come are laguna splitter which i have inside my car and need to spray my xr2i/rst skirts n arches and put them on. All about time and money though lol.

Yea ive been meaning to get an si interior for ages now! When i have a bit of spare cash.. it suddenly goes and then i cant afford it

Few more pics after a drive in the New Forest, also, 2 new mods for the car!

Tinted my front windows in light smoke tint, i think it looks really nice, i still need to do the rear window lol, and im changing the 2 rear windows for dark smoke because limo black is a bit too dark for the car i think, so will be doing all of the rear in dark smoke soon.

And also got a brand new K&N bolt on filter for my car for a bargain of £30!!! BRAND NEW Some woman tried fitting it to the car, but didnt fit, so i offered her £30 and she said yes! eBay bargain! Will fit that in the next couple of days
