got fed up of throwing money at my 2i just to keep it running so swapd it for this a 2.9 v6 xr4x4 needs a little work but its basicly a good car, only a few surface rust spots (rare on a car of this vintage)  we dont need 2 cars so the wifes rs1800 is going to be used every day and this is going to be for weekends and shows.

cant realy say as i've only driven it 100yards its got no t&t going to work on it over winter.if its anything like my old granada 4x4 2.9 its going to be a fun car, and im looking forward to anoting chavs in it 30mph in 4th plant y foot and it could keep a chav in a vts on the wrong side of the road

mmmmmm 4x4 i like it! not many about that arent total rot boxes underneath though, so if uve managed to get a good un, well done! how much was it if you dont mind me asking? |

little update, her she is new alloys and put back together, almost ready for her mot just a few more little jobs, main 1 been a misfire even with the misfire she pulls realy well the torque from the v6 is amazing, i can pull away just on tickover and no accelarator only had a quick spin up and down the street as she isnt legal, id forgoten how sharp the steering is on a 4x4

[/quote]Yea, they only really look good on landrovers! Trailers are useful for clearing junk tho, so its a good plan getting one first and clearing before you remove it!

passed her mot with not 1 recomendation altho he did say it needed a tune up as she is running lean, not bad for a car stood almost 2 years getting her tuned tmoz and if the insurance docs come thu i'll be taxing her, i sooooooo cant wait to take her for a proper drive. |
