some of you may know that ive bin preppin my mates cabby over the past year for a full repaint. ive bin doin this on his drive using aerosol primers etc, which i wouldnt normally use as i work in a bodyshop n normaly use 2k primers in booths with guns etc etc, however due to lack of this facility, my mates drive was the only place it cud happen, anyway i painted the car on saturday 26th july 2008, the car hasnt moved off his drive in 2 yrs until now.
heres the pics of wot it looked like thru the stages until satday when i took it into my workshop and painted it.
the car was in a slow collision with a parked vehicle bout 3 yrs ago, and was straightend and had 2 new wings fitted, front panel, second hand bonnet n front bumper, it stayed like this for about a year, lookin pretty naff, but dickin most cars on the road lol.then my mate had some pisshead kick his drivers door in, which resluted in £150 compensation in which he bought a second hand door.
then my mate bought another car n the cabbys restoration began.
those were taken jus before the car came off the road bout 2 yrs ago.

The colour is electric blue, a BMW Mini colour. it cam out better than i ever thought it cud, i avnt painted for over 2months too, as ive bin off work due to that leg op, n this is my first paint job since.
jus waitin on more pics wen its built up(wheels, mirrors window moulding etc), its got its mot tomoz evening so will update then
