im picking up my si 2nite so 2morrow i will start stripping and the project will b under way. need 2 sorce a engine but that shunt take 2 long will keep u posted

got car last night really happy now heres a few pics :

ive sorted all the rust got a few little holes in the floor 2 weld up. buying sum cossie calipers, 2litre ecu n TB of sum1 on here so now am trying 2 sorce a engine thats not 2 far and not 2 expensive. got sum spraying 2 do in the mean time and shud hav my recaros in this week sum time but im having 2 have the mounts welded back on cuz they snapped off will get sum pics up in the week

looks good mate :) i''d get the rust sorted out first before putting xr2i kit on as the rust will only get worse...big time

got all the rust grinded off just needs filling and respraying, couple of little areas underneath that need welding but there only small so no probs there so all the rust is sorted. now need 2 finish spraying 2i kit and fit that and im trying 2 sort out a engine at the min will get sum pics wen arches r on !

Well done for getting stuck into the rust straight away!

Good luck sourcing your engine, there's some right bargains to be had from time to time, some people from here got theirs for £25 or under :lol: 8-)

picking up a 2.0 p reg engine 2morrow, ecu and cossie calipers in the post thanks 2 fiestafletch got new water pump, cam belt kit ect 2 buy now then i can really get 2 work on the si. got sum work 2 do on the bumpers n stuff like that so will get sum pick up show u wot i bin up2
