Post subject: | Full Percy Car History! (Original Dragon Wagon Included) |
Due to popular demand I thought I would put a post together of my car history, As it is I have been driving 5 years and am on my 4th car! Due to insurance I couldn't get anything fast to start with so I got myself a 1.1 fiesta in Ash Black... (warning these pictures may be offensive) 1.1 Fiesta And so the dragon wagon was born!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() After some guidance the car started to show some promise as I removed a few bits and lowered it: ![]() ![]() I soon turned my attention to the interior, I did things differently but it actually went down well with most people: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The need to mod kept getting at me and I eventually gave in to the idea of 17's. Funny as the little 1.1 engine stuggled to do anything with those wheels, 70mph was for down hill only! ![]() ![]() ![]() Actually half way through my 1.1 ownership I blew the engine! Only cost me £150 for another one fitted! 2.0 Fiesta After a year I got bored and needed more speed so I bought an Ash Black 2.0 SI... It was relatively standard looking to start with, but it soon become... The dragon wagon 2.0... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Eventually the need for speed took hold so I got a K&N induction kit and a get of piper fast road cams!! ![]() ![]() And as always if you go faster you need to stop fast, ST150 brakes... ![]() As I didn't want to mess with the interior this time I went for under the bonnet: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Unfortuantly the 2.0 was plagued with problems I won't list them all but here is a few pictures of how the car looked on a regular basis: ![]() ![]() ![]() After 2 years as much as a loved the car I had to give it up as it was costing too much to keep it running. In these 2 years it required, new suspension, brakes, 1 head gasket and 1 new engine, nevermind a whole range of smaller problems Saxo VTS After a bad experience with the fiesta a French car seduced me while I was at my most vulnerable... The Saxo VTS... When I bought it it looked like this: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() As time went on I added my own touches for it to become: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The Dark Side: ![]() I didn't mess with the Saxo anywhere near as much as I classed the pictures above as complete and it didn't need anything more. The Saxo was bought as more of a stop gap while a got another fiesta..... But I fell in love with it instead. The Saxo lasted me just short of 2 years, then a few problems with the MOT pushed me on. The problems weren't huge but I was already playing with the idea of a new car. C2 VTS Still seduced my the dark side I bought the C2 and really love it. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Still not modded this one (unless you include a headunit change). All I plan is an air filter and I may not even bother with that. As far as standard setup going its an amazing car to drive. The future.... Who knows I plan to hold onto the C2 for a good few years now ![]() |

I did the lights myself, I did the fogs first as they where easier. I actually got a second set of lights from a scrap yard so I could take my time and get a good finish. ![]() |

I don't think I guide is really needed, just take care getting them apart, Getting the glass off is the hardest bit, the rest is easy, just take you time with the spraying etc. |
