You may have seen a post a while back showing some cars down at my mates yard
But finally he has started to spray up his van!
How its been sat for ages:
With kit bonded on and mattyboys old 2.0ltr engine in, and masked up for primer on staturday
Primered and doing putting stopper on the imperfections ready for it to be sprayed tomorrow we are hoping, in red with a silver base
Looking forward to finally seeing it finished!!
He has had this shell for about 3 years now, an old L reg MK3 diesel, alot of work has gone into this, and basically all new panels on it, smoothed the kit and bumpers onto the car and smoothed the roof off. also where the rear window panels used to be he welded in a new panel flush to the edge to make it look super shmooth
(not filler!)
Hes got the number plate light on the rear bumper and is using a square plate, a smooth boot with mondeo spoiler on, and an RS turbo bonnet, also full recaro interior
Some mods will be abit "chavvish" with the square plate, but to be fair.. he's rebuilt this car from scratch and done it all properly, so at least its not a bodge job
