After having it a while now I can say its a great car. It doesn't have the same rawness as the Saxo/Fiesta had and is marginally slower (nothing to worry about). Does make a nice sound when you put your foot down, nothing load just a nice sound as it climbs the revs Overall I would say it feels more refined than the Saxo in its standard form, everything works perfectly together. The suspension is perfect for a sports hatch compared to the lower models it is a lot firmer but not overly harsh. All the controls are very smooth (dare a say smoother than my dads mk6 Fiesta of similar age/mileage) which makes it nicer to drive. I have give the stability control a good amount of stick and it really won't let it do anything wrong. Seats in the front are really nice, I would put them on a par with the wingbacks, people who have been in the back like the rear seats. Even the standard speakers are decent, swapped my pioneer headunit in and added a cheap active sub and all sound is great. It uses a lot less petrol which I would say is a huge advantage in the current market. Its cheaper to insure than the Saxo, on renewal the Saxo was £650 TPO while the C2 was £500 FC. And it shines up very well I actually like the looks. ![]() Overall it is exactly what I was looking for, not so much faster but cheaper to run, just as quick, newer and more reliable. It may not be the perfect car for everybody but it certainly has some great strengths and I don't think anybody should discount it when looking for a car. |
