Picked this up a couple of weeks ago from a member on here.

Gave it a clean on the weekend for its first snaps





my thoughts so far are possibly a smaller front number plate, as it only has 6 digits i can get a smaller one but keep legal font and spacing i.e.



just something a bit different, also spent the weekend removing as much of the under bonnet blue tubing etc as its not really to my taste as is.

Ive stripped the back seats out Also am on the look out for some 15s but money is tight atm. However i am after a KN connector pipe, ill get a pick up at some point to show what i mean as mine is extra short for some reason, which i think is the reason for the very hot running due to the positioning of the intake :-?

Also have the front fogs / indicators just need some bulbs and hope to get those wired up over the weekend

All in all a nice upgrade from my old 1300 any comments welcome, and i do love the aubergine-ness

Im seriously considering going for white rs2k wheels i know there a bit common around here but i think they look pretty smart and would be good for placeholders until i can afford something a bit flasher.

As always any comments or suggestions welcome

oh dear....Mr star has done it again as it was nice, sunny and dry today i thought id take a more "interesting" route home, thrashed it around a bit but nothing too mad then as i got to the start of my village a took a bend a bit too enthusiastically, i hadnt noticed quite how slippery it was resulting in me having a very unpleasant ride up a kerb at bout 25-30 ish Blew out the front right and has put a dent in the front left wheel and chipped some of the paint off of the splitter. Also has bent some bits and pieces in the left front.

So im going to put some piccs up of the left front and see if you guys can identify what parts are going to need replacing, and the chances of me being able to do it myself

Definatly a new wishbone, maybe hub? Cv joint, driveshaft? Rack-end looks ok.. Shouldn't that big of a job mate..
