Small update. Thought I would post this up before the larger jobs commence over the coming days and weeks so I can keep everything up to date.

Lovely scratch from god knows who. Also have a knock on the rear bumper with one of the fittings broken. This was when it was dirty, looks worse when clean.

And onto the positive...

Old steering wheel off, new boss fitted:

New wheel on:

New AEM air filter tucked in there:

New 16 row oil cooler and Mocal Thermostatic Sandwich Plate.

Just need some stainless lines making up with 1/2 BSP connections then I can rock out on track without fear of hitting anywhere near 150c hopefully!

I also stuck in some new cooler spark plugs and Magnecor KV85 ignition leads.

Next main jobs: Fit Mugen Gold coilovers, fit new arms as they are sat there with brand new Hardrace bushes in them, and buy some new upper and lower balljoints.

Loads of other little things to fit too, like uprated shifter mounts, uprated rear ARB D bushes, uprated brake fluid and brake lines, turbo blanket, rocker cover paint and OEM seal, new rocker cover nuts, heat wrap on downpipe, increase air flow into and out of engine bay, etc. etc to much to list, but that will come in time.

Summer is coming and I'm hoping to have the car all done this year so I can just enjoy it. :chill:

Nice plans Ry! The new bits look nice too. Steering wheel suits the car nicely

Yeah Adam, the body work will get done, but it will be the last thing that happens. It's dent city, so I may end up getting 2x new doors and then go for a respray.

I just want everything sorted mechanically and electrically and then get my map tidied up as it drives a bit naff these days due to everything it's gone through, and it's a little slow. Namely the timing is slightly off but I need a new dizzy before the remap. It used to struggle to get traction in 3rd, now traction in 1st isn't too difficult to achieve.

It's annoying knowing that I have so much more safe and reliable power there, lying doormant, but good things come to those who wait.

And I am saving at the minute too

Aiming for the remap to be Auguest/September time. It should ideally be the last thing on my list. I want better management though (and I want to plug my laptop in for diagnostics) so I'm going down the Hondata route, but that adds an extra Â£450 ontop of the remap so has pushed it back a month.

This has now become my longest ever car ownership as well, with this being my 3rd year.

Just ordered a new OMP push button horn as the one I had broke - Reminded me as I nearly crashed into someone on a roundabout earlier as someone decided to cut me up when it was my right of way.

Also ordered a new Bosch battery as the Halfords one that's been in it since I've had the car is giving up the ghost.

Only thing stopping me is that I need to learn when to stop Dave. :lol:

I have a garage full of bits to fit. Currently nursing a broken front ARB bracket so its a little wallowy to drive.

It is Danny - There isn't much is isn't running really.

Erm I mean an RS Turbo?... yeah... thats what I meant!

To be fair, ask most of my mates what car I want, a lot of them will tell you a JDM DC2 :lol:

Its either that or a Mk1 FRS.

But shh, no one told you that I want jap, lets keep that on the down low!
