Yep IMSY has bought the EVo powered MK3 Fiesta , its a fookin animal, the spec of the car is crazy, all the best of gear on teh car, PROFLEX, AIM, MOTEC,AP RACING you name it , its got it. The shell was fabricated by DJM motorsport( Colin McRAe R4 fame) and its unbelievable, youd have to see this car in the flesh to truly appreciate it

IMSYs currently doing some work to it and giving some parts an overhaul and upgrade ( we where fabricating a new baffled big wing sump last nite) and could be back together for our track nite on the 30th September. Currently the engine and box is out having to do the plated clutch and some bits and bobs to improve it , and some wiring being tidied up inside the car. IMSY is a perfectionist and is putting his own mark on the car before using it in anger

The car has 3 maps , and can run 580 bhp on pump fuel, 627 bhp on race fuel, and a qualifying map of 650bhp on race fuel

Its IMSys and MAd Andy MAcs fault as theyre getting quicker and quicker all the time, Andy owns a big power ESCOS with 400bhp and big tooth box and diffs, quick quick car too

The FIEVO is a strictly trcak car, was built from a brand new shell

Ive just seen some bits for sale that would make my fiesta better, so maybe ill just keep it, and stop being a drama queen..........sorry guys for the drama :insanity: :insanity:

seen the pics in Fast Ford this month absolute belter of a pic on the first page of the Croft feature, main picture

also nice wee quote in teh feature

" Come to Croft, you see DALSY flat out.........its in the bible"

also my mate Stu with the orange XR2 with my old engine, IMSYs Fiesta, Andy Macs white ESCOS, Cootsies Blue ESCOS, total West of Scotland RSOC whitewash in the feature 8-) 8-)

Cars definately staying put, ive just bought some bits for it to improve it again

IMSY is now breaking his MK3 Fiesta if anyones looking for some quality bits for there Fiestas, so PM me if yous need anything and ill see if they are still available

small update guys

I fitted neew race spec vibratehnic engine mounts today, as i was having some issues with the bottom arms loosening off. I had nylon engine mounts on the gearbox, and now with the added power things where coming loose all the time , mainly the bottom arms and holders which fit to the chasis of the car. So hopefully that will make it less harsh , but still not allow the engine to move around , as ive only 10mm clearance between the carb trumpets and bulkhead

Cars now tucked away in its new home , until 6th November when i will be at Knockhill with all the boys for one last wee blast out until next year

Ive bought some more carbon for under the bonnet of the Focus and also bought a Milltek resonated exhaust and 200 cell sports cat, should have them by Wednesday, ill post some pics up

Petrol not sure about the Edinburgh plate, but will be getting my girlfriends private plate on the car when its taxed again, as she is going to now use the car as her new daily, and sell her BMW

Wee update guys, had a bit of an issue with the gazebo during very very high winds up here, in which it broke off the foot mountings secured to the slabs and got absolutely destroyed , doing some damage to the car.

Ill have to have the front bumper and bonnet resparyed , and some of the graphix replaced , as the gazebo crashed down on teh car, so Im going to do a wee revision of the current graphix for next year, i think it will look smart as fook

Also looks like ill be buying a bigger and faster track car for 2012, so not sure wether to put the Fiesta into storage somewhere or sell it complete, but the car wont be getting broken. Hopefully ill be in a position to buy a new car in march /April time and will probably be an Escort Cosworth track car, got to try and keep up with the big boys, but ill wait and see what happens in teh next few months

If anyone is genuinely intrested in buying my Fiesta , please PM me for some details, but wont be sold until the new car arrives, i still need my track day fix, and ive already booked for Kames and Croft 2012
