got a few things planned for the Si for jan, firstly my new cd player is going in thanks to christmas, good timing too as my already poor unit is failing me very often, just no sound comes through apart from the sub, very anoying


im planning to remove the ashley manifold for the catted setep for the mot early as its knocking all the time and the blowing has got to stop!, its likely why its over fueling tbh, while im removing it ill try to take it off as the whole, by not seperating the two halfs, if i manage it i will then try refitting it, again if so i will then weld the two halfs up so it wont leak/blow there anymore

it would also benefit me to fit a bolt mating flange to the end and a gasket like most standard setups
for example:


i also plan to buy a Gmax setup to replace my leaking front passengers shock before the mot

and finally i want to weld a plate and box section to the rear beam, it will add unsprung weight yes but hopefully will stiffen up the torsion beam to add the anti roll bar effect

bought some new maps, deep pile from asda of all places, but £6 were a bargain, and ready for my service in jan-march ive got some uber cheap castrol GTX oil, only a 4L tub but was only a tenner! thanks asda, only went for cloths...


in other news one of my dogs has put theyre foot through my sub cone.... still sounds fine so might put some good quality druck tape on the tear untill i find a 10inch sub to replace it, will need a mesh cover though to stop it happening again

this was the white one, never tried this before, atm it has Mobil 1 something or other, before i used Castrol Magnatec which is supposed to be great

will get the filter soon too, but the plugs were done recently
