heres the underbonet all fitted out with the carbon parts now for the Focus RS
battery cover, fuse box cover, header tank cover, wing rail covers and Graham Goode Racing carbon CAIS, this has made a wee bit of difference to the car, throttle response feels sharper
Just to buy the carbon slam panel, i originally bought this too, but sent it back after the quality of this item was very poor, the weave was uneven and looked rubbish, so ill need to try and find another supplier who could supply the correct item
Thought id also show a quick pic of the new gearbox, I had all the quaiffe gearset and diff from the RS turbo BC box fitted into a IB5 gearbox with the better bearings and syncros. When Pete was rebuilding it, he reconned the LSD was an uprated item, so all good , The box has been much better , much smoother on the gearchanges, and with the new Rally Design gear selector its been brilliant
Pete at GEARS built the box with a brand new Ford casing and it looks brilliant and modified the breather and drilled a new drail plug on the underside of the box, makes it soo much easier to drain, and replace the oil, very pleased with teh work, id highly recomend him , and not hard to pay either
